There is the birthplace of the last king of Rzech Pospolita Stanislav August Ponyatovski (1733-1798) near the pushcha (Volchin). His ashes were also brought to the same place, the Trinity Roman-Catholic church (it was built in the 18 th century) from Petersburg for the reburial. Northwards to the pushcha there is Count Tyshkevichs country estate, who took part the Polish revolt (1830-1831) against tsarism. Belavezhskaya Pushcha is also remarkable for the fact that all the princes of the Great Dutch of Lithuania and kings of Rzech Pospolita and since the 19 th century all Russian emperors have visited it. All of them had the only cause for coming here, it was the magnificence of princes, kings and emperors hunting. Since 1991 hunting tourism has started carried out in Belavezhskaya Pushcha. Appropriate material resources have been created and huntmasters have been trained here for the reception of tourist-hunters including foreigners. A significant number of deers, boars, roes and aurochs are harvested annually for the purpose of improvement of wild animals populations structure, creation of conditions for the natural forest renewal by means of selection game shooting and catching animals for setting them apart. The Russian emperors hunters palace is situated now on the territory of Poland. From east to west the Pushcha is crossed by an ancient "tsars road" by which Russian tsars made their way to the hunters palace. Ancient bridges with open-worked railings which had been decorated with an eagle, the arms of the Russian Empire, have preserved on the "tsars road". Visiters can view an ancient man's site of mesolithic epoch on the territory of the National Park as well as barrow-pointers along ancient roads, funeral monuments-barrows, survey "Viskuli" complex, Count Tyshkevichs country estate and an ancient tower "Belaya Vezha" as well as monuments of cultural architecture. The National Park disposes of large opportunities for ecological tourism development. Here there is a Museum of Nature where the displays of most animals dwelling in the Pushcha and plants growing on its territory are represented as well as open-air cages with different species of animals in their habitat. Various pedestrian, horse-drawn, motor-car one-day or many-days tourist routes are proposed to different categories of visiters. There are three hotels for 212 places, two comfortable guest houses in picturesque locality for 16 places, sauna, bar disco, restaurant where one can taste national dishes including those prepared of game. There is taxidermic and art studios not far from the hotel where original souvenirs intended for realization to visiters in memory of staying in Belovezhskaya Pushcha. In the administrative building of the park there is an assembly hall for 100 places where symposiums, conferences and other arrangements can be held. The delivery of guests from Minsk of Brest can be organized by the transport meansto a preliminary demand. Tourists who come to the Pushcha crossing Minsk may have their stop in a comfortable hotel of the complex "Yunost" which is situated on the Minsk sea coast. There is a protected motor-car parking for those who come here by their own vehicles. In the forest and hunting estates of Krasnoselskoye, Teterinskoye, and Shereshovskoye and on the base of the hunting forestry "Telekhanskoye" which is situated on the territory of Ivatsevichi and Lyahovichi districts Brest region there is an opportunity for hunting on commercial basis. The forestry has got 10947 hectares of swamped covered with forest (66%) flat hunting lands in its disposal, 2596 hectares of which occupy the lands in its disposal, 2596 hectares of which occupy the Vygonovskoye Lake. In connection with absence of public roads the territory is difficult of access and travel is carried out by water transport or by foot. Hunting is conducted for fur-bearing animals and game-birds. On the Vygonovskoye Lake the hunting for waterfowl game and sports fishing is arranged. Tourists who arrive at Belavezhskaga Pushcha by tourist vouchers, hunting tour vouchers or for amateur fishing must have their passport with an open visa when crossing the border and hunters must have their hunting ticket and permission for transporting arm and ammunition as well as a veterinary licence for transporting gun-dogs. The administration of the National Park gives help in legalization visas and applications for getting permission and transportation of arm and ammunition.
